Finally Feeling Good!!

It was so nice to have a couple weeks off chemo. Mike and I enjoyed our anniversary trip to San Diego. We stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado which is nice but an old hotel. We had nice weather and it was very relaxing. I did a lot of reading and napping. We did rent bikes for an hour one day and rode around the island. I had not been on a bike since my knee injury but it held up well. It was a little stiff that night but I had fun.

I love Mike for making this trip happen and for keeping my spirits lifted.

Chemo this round went much better. I only have one more treatment to do and then my doctor is going to switch me to the pill form of chemo. The side effects and treatment should be much better than the last few months have been. My CEA score went down again even with the break. It is now 3.6 and in the normal range. Hopefully I can hold it there for a while.

Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers. It helps me so much. I'm enjoying each precious day I get and hopefully there will still be many more to come.
